Supreme Court of Bosnia Federation Reduces Sentences for Smoluca Crimes

The Supreme Court of the Bosnian Federation reduced the sentences of Milorad (Nenad) Cvijanovic, Svetomir Ilic, Vaso Ilic, and Milorad (Milan) Cvijanovic. The defendants were charged with committing crimes against prisoners of war in Smoluca, near Lukavac, in 1992.

Longer Sentence for Smoluca Crimes Requested

The Federal Prosecution requests the Court to pronounce longer sentence against four suspects, whom the Tuzla Cantonal Court sentenced to a total of 18-and-a-half years in prison for crimes against prisoners of war in Smoluca, Lukavac municipality, while the Defence requests quashing of the verdict.
