The district court of Doboj sentenced Slavko Ikanovic, a former member of the Vucijacka Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army, to five and a half years in prison for war crimes against civilians in Derventa.
Prosecution witnesses testifying at the Slavko Ikanovic trial said they heard that Ikanovic was involved in the murder of Anica Adjelic in the village of Gornji Bozinci in the Derventa area.
The trial of Slavko Ikanovic will begin at the district court of Doboj on April 15. Ikanovic is charged with having committed war crimes against the civilian population in the Derventa area.
