The trial for crimes in the Busovaca area has been postponed, because two State Prosecution witnesses failed to appear in court.
Prosecutor Slavica Terzic said that she would give up the examination of one of the witnesses.

“The second witness, who was born in 1928, has no way to come to the court. We found out about it yesterday, so we shall try to provide transportation means for him, so he can attend the next hearing,” Terzic said.

Trial Chamber Chairman Saban Maksumic suggested to the Prosecution to establish contacts with witnesses on time, instead of doing it one day prior to the hearing.

Zoran Marinic and Zoran Milic, former members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, are charged with crimes in the Busovaca area in 1993. They are charged with the killing of four Bosniaks, causing of bodily injuries and unlawful and arbitrary destruction of property.

The next hearing is scheduled for September 26, when two State Prosecution witnesses will testify.
