Mejakic et al: Photos taken in detention camp

The Defence of Momcilo Gruban continues presenting its material evidence.
Following a two-week break at the trial of the four indictees charged with crimes committed in detention camps in Prijedor during 1992, the Defence of Momcilo Gruban continued presenting material evidence, including photos of detainees held in Omarska detention camp.

The Prosecution of BiH charges Zeljko Mejakic, Momcilo 'Ckalja' Gruban, Dusan Fustar and Dusko 'Duca' Knezevic with murder, beating, rape, torture and the detention of Bosniaks and Croats in Omarska and Keraterm detention camps in the course of 1992.

The material evidence proposed by Gruban's Defence includes, among other things, the statements given by Prosecution witnesses in the course of 1994, 2000 and 2006, extracts from the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia criminal code, which refers to the "circumstances related to call for mobilisation", as well as the photographs of Omarska detention camp and persons detained in it.

The Trial Chamber admitted these pieces of evidence.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Gruban with having been one of the three guard shift commanders in Omarska detention camp from May to August 1992.

The trial is due to continue on April 10.
