Indictment Against Mirsad Ahmetbasic Confirmed
Mirsad Arnautovic BIRN BiH BrckoThe basic court of Brcko District confirmed an indictment against Mirsad Ahmetbasic for war crimes committed against civilians and prisoners of war in the Brcko area.
Ahmetbasic, a former member of the 108th Brigade of the Croatian Defense Council in Bosanska Posavina, was a former guard at a detention facility located on the former Okrajci forest grounds near Brcko. He has been charged with participating in the mistreatment of detained Serb civilians and prisoners of war he guarded in mid-1992.
