The cantonal court of Zenica has scheduled the announcement of the verdict in the Sedjad Djerahovic and Jasmin Saric trial for Monday, November 30.
Testifying in his own defense at the cantonal court of Zenica, Marko Stankovic said an injured party falsely accused him of a crime committed in the village of Kucice in the municipality of Zavidovici in 1992.
Defense witness testifying at the Jasmin Sehagic trial said they didn’t know prisoners were mistreated in the detention facility the defendant managed. Sehagic has been charged with war crimes in the Kakanj area.
The cantonal court of Zenica sentenced Franjo Pravdic to 11 years in prison for war crimes committed in the Zepce area.
A defense witness was examined at today’s hearing of the retrial of Franjo Pravdic at the cantonal court of Zenica. The witness was examined on Pravdic’s appearance at the time of his alleged crimes in Zepce, and the physical similarities between the defendant and his uncle, Stipe Pravdic.
Testifying in his own defense before the cantonal court of Zenica, Zeljko Rakic said he left Bosnia and Herzegovina in late April 1992 and didn’t participate in the Bosnian war.
The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has reduced the sentence against Perica Adzic by a year and four months. He has now been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed a verdict which sentenced Hajrudin Dedic to six years in prison. Dedic, a former police officer in Breza, was found guilty of torturing and treating civilians in Breza in an inhumane manner.
The retrial of Franjo Pravdic began at the cantonal court of Zenica. Pravdic has been charged with war crimes in Zepce.
Testifying in his own defense at the cantonal court of Zenica, Ranko Radic denied any involvement in the murder of Zuhra Hasanovic.
The cantonal court of Zenica sentenced Eniz Basic to two years in prison for war crimes against civilians committed in the municipality of Zenica.
The defense of Eniz Basic presented its closing statement before the cantonal court of Zencia, and called upon the court to hand down a not guilty verdict.
