The Bosnian Federation Supreme Court confirmed a verdict handed down by the cantonal court of Bihac, which sentenced Sulejman Mujagic to eight and a half years in prison for war crimes in the Velika Kladusa area.

Skoro and Milos Acquittal Confirmed

The Bosnian Federation Supreme Court confirmed a first instance verdict handed down by the cantonal court of Novi Travnik against Miroslav Skoro and Dalibor Milos, which acquitted them of charges of war crimes in the Kiseljak area.

11-Year Prison Sentence Against Pravdic Repealed, Retrial Ordered

The Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed the verdict against Franjo Pravdic, who was sentenced to 11 years in prison for war crimes in Zepce. The case was returned to the cantonal court of Zenica for a retrial.

Verdict against Kovacevic and Anadolac Repealed

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed a verdict which sentenced Safet Kovacevic to 18 months in prison and acquitted Muhamed Anadolac of charges of war crimes in Bihac and Cazin. Husein Begic’s acquittal was confirmed.

Verdict of Release For Bejtic Repealed Again

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed a verdict handed down by the Cantonal Court of Sarajevo, which acquitted Samir Bejtic of war crimes charges in Kazani, near Sarajevo.

The Federation supreme court has confirmed a verdict which sentences Dusko Soles, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, to six years in prison.

The Federation supreme court repealed Ermin Curtic’s prison sentence, and called for a retrial at the cantonal court of Sarajevo.

Vukadinovic Sentence Reduced

The Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reduced Drago Vukadinovic’s sentence to four months in prison. Vukadinovic was found guilty of crimes against civilians in the Busovaca area in 1993.

The Bosnian state prosecution has asked that the Bosnian supreme court hand down a longer sentence in the case of Sulejman Mujagic. Mujagic’s defense has requested that the first instance verdict in the case be repealed.

Prosecution Requests Harsher Sentences For Former Bosnian Fighters in Krajina

The Bosnian state prosecution called upon the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to order a longer sentence against Safet Kovacevic for war crimes committed in Bihac and Cazin, and to rescind the release of two other defendants. The defense teams claim the appeals are unfounded, and requested that the court reject the appeals.

Curtic Defense Requests Supreme Court Acquittal

The defense of Ermin Curtic asked Bosnia’s supreme court to acquit Curtic of charges of war crimes in Vares. The state prosecution asked the court to confirm the first instance verdict against Curtic, which sentenced him to five and a half years in prison.

Supreme Court of Bosnia Federation Reduces Sentences for Smoluca Crimes

The Supreme Court of the Bosnian Federation reduced the sentences of Milorad (Nenad) Cvijanovic, Svetomir Ilic, Vaso Ilic, and Milorad (Milan) Cvijanovic. The defendants were charged with committing crimes against prisoners of war in Smoluca, near Lukavac, in 1992.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed a verdict under which former Bosniak fighter Asim Kadic was sentenced to four years in prison.
