Peljto’s Trial Postponed
Mirsad Arnautovic BIRN BiH BrckoThe trial of Mensur Peljto before the Elementary Court in Brcko District was postponed because his lawyer was ill.
Presiding judge Muhamed Avdic said lawyer Faruk Balijagic sent the court medical documents which prove he is in fact ill and must miss this hearing.
Peljto is charged with torturing, abusing and hurting civilians and prisoners of war in Brcko.
The trial will resume on May 11.
